Meerlo, 14 july 1973

On july 14, 1973,  a 10-month old Kayak played at the Midsummer Popfestival in Meerlo, Holland. Other artists: Dizzy Man's Band (Holland), Colin Blunstone (U.K.) and others. Below you can see 2 pictures from that show.

This concert was apparently recorded for broadcast on Dutch radio. In 2005, the Fonos label released a 'Dutchpop' compilation CD, with "Mammoth" from this concert. Fonos also hoped to release the entire show, but has not provided any details since...

A great chance to hear 43 minutes of perhaps the oldest Kayak concert ever recorded!
